What is Covered:
i) Writing Structure and Framework: Proven framework to use across different writing styles (Narrative, Descriptive, Expository) that you can directly use in the O level English exams.
ii) Content Knowledge: Information, Case Studies and Theories that will give your content mark a HUGE boost in the O level English Composition Exam
iii) Questions & Model Essays: We have prepared questions across the O level composition themes and model essays that you can use for fuss-free exam revision!

(Narrative & Non-narrative Comprehension )
What is Covered:
i) Guided Examples: Demonstration of techniques through guided questions and example. This includes inferential, referential and vocabulary questions, across different styles.
ii) Question Exposure: Question Types you can expect in the O level Exams. This include tricky and "curve-ball" questions
iii) Model Answers: We give you model answers that tell you exactly what is required to meet marking requirements.

In these workshops, we do targeted drilling on these questions so your child is fully prepared for the actual paper.
We covered multiple variations to each question and recap the strategies to approach them. Model answers and annotated notes will be given for pre-exam revision.

To help your child with content knowledge and examples for composition writing, we have compiled summaries that simplify revision.
This covers all themes that are commonly tested in the O levels, including tips and guidelines on how to structure their essays.
We revise the framework required for different essay types - including Personal Recount, Descriptive, Expository and Situational Writing.
Revise the Skills & Answer Techniques for Comprehension Questions (Including Summary Writing)
In O Level English Comprehension workshop, we will revisit the answering techniques for all Question Types.
This includes both the Narrative and Non-narrative Comprehension types, as well as Summary Writing question.
Through targeted drilling, we highlight common mistakes and emphasize on critical marking requirements, so your child knows what is expected to score well.
Extensive In-House Materials for Reference & Revision Beyond Class
Our syllabus, notes and model answers are in line with the new O level English syllabus (1184). To help students understand marking requirements, we have prepared specimen papers, practices and model answers that reflect the key 'ingredients'.
You can expect detailed notes across various themes and hybrid questions that will come in handy for revision. These are prepared in-house and not available elsewhere.
