If you are aged 11 or 12 in 2026, Hess Academy invites all Primary 5 & 6 students to showcase their creativity and compete for fantastic prizes! Let your imagination take you on adventures beyond the ordinary and be rewarded while doing so!

How to Participate?
Step 1: Choose A Story Prompt
Prompt 1:
The classroom buzzed with chatter as I stared down at my hands — except they weren’t there. My pen hovered in mid-air, scribbling notes no one seemed to see being written. A chair scraped back as someone walked straight through where I was standing. Then my phone vibrated in my pocket with a notification from an unknown
number: “Stay calm. This is temporary… I think.”.
Prompt 2:
The hallway roared with noise as I blinked hard, trying to shake the sudden pressure behind my eyes. Whispers curled through my head, overlapping, urgent, not a single mouth moving nearby. A boy laughed across the room, but I heard the punchline before he spoke. My temples throbbed as a new voice cut through: “Don’t panic. You’re tuning in.” This shouldn’t be happening now.
Step 2: Continue The Story
Continue the story with your own original content of no more than 400 words, based on the prompt you have chosen.
The provided prompt words are not included in the word count.
